Gentle Grooming for Puppies and Sensitive Pets
At Paws & Polish, every appointment starts with a simple conversation about coat condition, home care, and any sensitivities you want us to keep in mind. That first step helps us choose a practical grooming approach before the session begins.
For puppies and pets new to grooming, we often begin with short familiarization visits. These sessions are designed to build comfort through small, manageable stages rather than rushing through a full service.
Calm, one-to-one appointments with staged care when needed.
A quiet studio setting helps each visit move at a pace your pet can handle.
If a pet shows significant stress, pain, aggression, breathing difficulty, or another welfare concern, the session may be shortened, adjusted, paused, or stopped. When coat condition requires it, a shorter practical finish may be recommended instead of forcing a style that would cause avoidable discomfort.
Many sensitive pets do best with a staged grooming plan. Depending on the coat and handling scope, that plan may involve two to four short sessions, with each visit shaped by what your pet can safely manage on the day.
